Trinity Raises Over $700K at Annual Gala
A Night to Shine 2018: Galaxy Gala
At Trinity Episcopal School's annual spring gala, A Night to Shine, the school raised $714,000—a school record—for financial assistance programs, faculty professional development, and campus enhancements.
The event hauled in $675,000 for Trinity's Financial Assistance and Faculty Professional Development, two programs that enrich students' academic experience each day by providing for a more socio-economically diverse community and a broader range of student and teacher perspectives in the classroom. A Night to Shine also raised approximately $39,000 to replace campus water fountains with Elkay ezH2O filtration and filling stations. The state-of-the-art water filtration system not only improves water quality but also reduces landfill waste by saving hundreds of thousands of plastic water bottles each year.
The theme for 2018 was "Galaxy Gala: The Future Starts Here." The attire was a mix of formal wear and costumes, with patrons donning everything from black ties to Jedi robes. The evening featured out-of-this-world cocktails and cuisine, silent and live auctions, and entertainment. Event chairs Donna Baldwin, Laura Craddick, and Lucy Reagan partnered with Trinity staff and a committee of Trinity parents to put on this successful event.
