Lower School Milestones

The school year is jam-packed with special milestones! Here are some of the more memorable events for grades K–4.

August

Snow Cone Day

The day before classes begin, students have a chance to meet their new teachers, say hello to friends, and enjoy a tasty summer treat at this annual back-to-school event.

August

First Day

We love welcoming our families back to school! Many parents skip the carpool line on the first day to walk their students into campus (and snap a few first-day photos, of course). Kindergarters dismiss early during the first week to help them adjust.

Fall & Winter

Cultural Celebrations

Throughout the year, we host special celebrations for various cultures. These events honor other faith traditions and are designed to educate, inspire, and unite! Fall celebrations include Día de Los Muertos and Diwali.

November

Book Festival

We love literacy — so much so that our librarians and parents put on a week-long festival in the fall to celebrate reading and writing! Book Festival includes a book fair, costume contests, author visits, and book awards selected by students.

Winter

December

Christmas Pageant

As an Episcopal School, Christmas is a big deal at Trinity! Parent Council decks the halls with boughs of holly and Lower School tells the story of the birth of Jesus with the Christmas Pageant. Those kindergarten angels are too cute!

Spring Fundraiser

Every year, we host a parent-only event to come together as a community and raise money for our programs. The event supports lots of initiatives, but the main focus areas are financial assistance, and faculty professional development.

April

Students in all grades show off their projects in the campus-wide Art Show. Families are invited to come and check out the wide range of sketches, paintings, scultptures, and more.
