Stephen Lynn Braggs was born in Houston Texas and lived in Austin, TX for 20 years. Coach Braggs graduated from HS in 1983 and attended The University of Texas at Austin and obtained a Business Management and Organization Communications Degree. While attending UT, Coach Braggs was a starter for all 4 years on the Texas Longhorns Football team. Coach Braggs finished his collegiate career earning the Team MVP honor in 1986. Coach Braggs was drafted to the NFL in the 6th Round by the Cleveland Browns and was a proud member of the Original Dawg Pound. His nickname was Puppy Dawg. Coach Braggs played 5 years with the Cleveland Browns and 2 years with the Miami Dolphins. During Coach Braggs’ NFL playing career he embarked on an awesome entrepreneurial experience as an owner operator of three Burger King Franchisee locations.
Coach Braggs’ coaching career started off in the NFL ranks and lasted for 6 years. Coach Braggs was the defensive backs coach for the World Bowl Champion Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe in 2001. Coach Braggs came to Trinity in 2015 and believes he has found his passion in coaching middle and high school athletics.

Coach Hendricks became Trinity’s Director of Athletics and Physical Education in the 2020-21 school year. He was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended Henderson State University on a baseball scholarship. There he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master’s degree in English. He was inducted into the Hall of Honor as a baseball player at HSU in 2019. After his collegiate career, he played four years of minor league baseball in the United States and four years in Belgium. Coach Hendricks came to Trinity in 2013 and has served as a PE Teacher, PE Coordinator, Assistant Athletic Director, coach of volleyball, girls and boys basketball and baseball. Prior to coming to Trinity, Coach Hendricks served as a strength and conditioning coach, girl’s assistant varsity basketball coach, field hockey coach, boy’s volleyball coach and baseball coach at Fort Worth Country Day.
Coach Hendricks understands the power of having a positive relationship between coach and player. Through these relationships he strives to teach the following core values that serve as the blueprints to success: Excellence - take pride in working hard. Respect - be respectful to parents, teachers, coaches, opponents, officials, peers and yourself. Commitment - make a difference everyday. Honesty - be accountable to each other. Love - sacrifice for the benefit of the team. Strength - have courage and determination to never give up.
