25 Years of Trinity

25 Years of Trinity

Trinity just marked a major milestone! On November 9, we celebrated our 25th anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout with both current and past families, alumni, faculty, and friends of Trinity who have made Trinity the school it is today.

We are proud to have served the Austin-area for a quarter-century, honoring our mission to enrich and nurture children in all areas. It has been amazing to witness the growth of our school and community. What began in 1999 with 13 first-graders in a blue house has grown into one of the largest independent PK–8 schools in the country, with 656 students and 167 faculty and staff.

Our students and staff put on a special program featuring our choir and remarks from students, faculty, Head of School Jennifer Morgan, Board Chair Anne Harrington, and Mayor of West Lake Hills James Vaughan.

“When Trinity first began, my mom, Jane Hill, was the founding head, and I remember those early days well.” said Head of School Jennifer Morgan. “It took the collective heart and effort of every family and faculty member to build what we have today. Many of you here were part of that journey, and we’re so grateful. Our mission is as alive today as it was at our founding in 1999 and we hold true to that mission to nurture every child academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually — honoring each child’s spirit for learning and life.”

Building a strong community is one of Trinity’s top priorities, and we are happy that our community got to enjoy some well-deserved fun! The celebration included food trucks and activities like rock climbing, bouncy houses, and train rides.

“That this type of educational environment could be created in a mere 25 years — this is nothing short of remarkable” said Mayor of West Lake Hills James Vaughn. “I have the deepest admiration for all of you who made this possible.”

We are immensely grateful for the Trinity community who have not only helped plan and execute our anniversary celebration but also those new and old, who have continued to make Trinity a more welcoming and brighter place.

“It’s a place where our students are fed and nourished on every level. They are educated by wonderful humans, and they are equipped to be thoughtful, compassionate, critical thinkers,” said Board Chair Anne Harrington. “I hope in 25 years and beyond, our students will continue to cherish this experience and take their tools and hearts out into the broader world to enrich the lives of strangers and neighbors alike. The history here is exceptional, and I know that legacy will continue to support a bright and bold future.”
