Part-time Volleyball Coach

Trinity Episcopal School seeks temporary part-time Volleyball Coach for our 5/6 grade girls’ volleyball team during the fall 2021 season. Trinity Episcopal School is an inclusive, forward-thinking, faith-based K-8 independent school that meets each student where they are to nurture the whole child’s academic, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Trinity is located in West Lake Hills, close to downtown Austin, Texas.

All coaches will work through Trinity’s 2021 volleyball season and will assume responsibility for all areas relating to the team's management.


This is a temporary, part-time stipend position and the coaches will report to the Athletic Director.


The position begins on August 17, 2021 and runs through the end of volleyball season October 31, 2021. Practices will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2 p.m. – 2:50 p.m. Games are typically played Monday-Friday, with start times ranging from 4 – 5:30 p.m. with one weekend preseason tournament and one weekend postseason tournament.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic and excellent character
  • Ability to be an innovative, flexible, collaborative, and positive member of a faculty 
  • Prior Coaching experience and/or Basketball experience preferred 
  • First Aid, CPR/AED Certification preferred 
  • Strong commitment to academic and athletic success of all student-athletes 
  • Good communication skills are required
