Trinity Middle School Students Shine in Fall Activities

From the field to the stage, Trinity middle schoolers (grades 5-8) demonstrated their ability to soar to new heights this fall season.

On October 27, the Trinity and St. Stephen’s 7/8 tackle football team won the AIPL championship against St. Andrews capping off an undefeated season. The Trinity 5/6 4A volleyball team also had a stellar season, winning first place overall and second in the AIPL tournament.

Trinity Athletic Director Dwayne Bryant said: “It was an absolute joy watching our teams compete and get better with every game and every practice. I couldn’t be more proud of our Trinity Tornado athletes.”

On October 28, Trinity’s Fine Arts Department presented its fall play This is a Test. The cast of 22 middle school students showed their comedic chops as they demonstrated the play’s absurdist concepts about the enormous amount of stress that test taking can cause.

“What a fun and relevant one-act to direct in middle school,” said Theatre Director Sarah Stuart. “The creativity and joy that the cast brought to the entire process was richly rewarding.”
